These images can help doctors diagnose and treat medical conditions.

In the Northern Territory (NT) services can include:

  • mammography
  • ultrasound
  • MRI scans
  • PET/CT imaging
  • nuclear medicine imaging.

How to access the service

  • you need to see an NT health specialist or part of your treatment or care plan.

GP's and other health professionals can only refer you to a private medical imaging service.
