A renal psychologist can assist you in dealing with the emotions that come with managing kidney disease and renal treatment.
Access the service
The renal psychologist provides services to patients who receive care through the Top End, Big Rivers and East Arnhem Regions renal services.
Outpatient referrals can only be made by a health professional.
Inpatient referrals can be made by hospital staff.
Eligibility
You can be referred to the service if you:
- have chronic kidney disease stage 3B onwards
- are on any form of dialysis.
