Psammoperca waigiensis.
Where they live
Sand bass are found to inhabit rocky or coral reefs in weedy areas.
You can find them in holes and crevices by day and have been known to enter estuaries.
They forage on fishes and crustaceans at night.
Size and age
Sand bass grow to 47cm and have an unknown lifespan.
