Summary:

A sedimentary basin formed as part of the Centralian Superbasin and extends into Western Australia. Correlated with lower units of the Amadeus and Ngalia basins.

Relationship:

Unconformably overlies the Palaeo-Neoproterozoic Aileron Province and Palaeoproterozoic Tanami Region. Unconformably overlain by the Phanerozoic Canning Basin

Thickness:

Up to 4 km.

Economic:

No known mineral occurrences.

Metamorphism:

Unmetamorphosed.
