Summary: | A structurally bound and variably deformed sedimentary basin that occurs to the west of the Halls Creek and Giants Reef faults. | |
Relationship: | Faulted contact with the Neoproterozoic Victoria and Wolfe Basins. Overlies the Palaeoproterozoic Pine Creek and Halls Creek orogens, and is unconformably overlain by the Phanerozoic Bonaparte Basin. | |
Thickness: | At least 3.5 km. | |
Economic: | No significant known mineral occurrences. | |
Metamorphism: | Unmetamorphosed. | |
