Summary: | Forms part of the Tennant Region. A folded succession of shallow marine sedimentary rocks and volcanics. | |
Relationship: | Overlies (and contains equivalents of) Palaeoproterozoic Warramunga Province. Overlain by Neoproterozoic to Palaeozoic Georgina and Wiso basins to the east and west. Stratigraphic equivalents extend into Palaeo-Neoproterozoic Aileron Province. | |
Thickness: | At least 5 km. | |
Economic: | Hosts W, Mo, Au, Cu and U mineralisation. | |
Metamorphism: | Sub-greenschist to greenschist facies. | |
