Relationship: | Unconformably overlies the Palaeoproterozoic Pine Creek Orogen and Palaeo-Mesoproterozoic Birrindudu Basin to the north and east and Neoproterozoic Victoria Basin to the west. Overlain by Mesozoic Carpentaria Basin on its southern margin. | |
Thickness: | Up to 1 km. | |
Economic: | Some carbonate-hosted base metal and barite occurrences along faulted southwestern margin. Limestone quarried in southeast. | |
Metamorphism: | Unmetamorphosed. | |
