Apply for the Aboriginal pre-employment program

If you're an Aboriginal jobseeker looking for work, you can apply for the Northern Territory (NT) Government's Aboriginal pre-employment program.

Upon successful completion, employment opportunities may be available across a range of NT Government departments.

Regional programs

Future programs will be delivered in regional areas.

You can submit your expression of interest to be notified about these programs.

To register your interest and find out about eligibility go to the NT Government early careers website.

You will need to attach:

a resume with 2 referees
your most recent school results (if under 21)
any previous qualifications you have completed
confirmation of Aboriginality from an appropriate community organisation (or provide proof of application before you start the program).
