Ms Sue McKinnon is a Board Director on the peak body, National Landcare Network (NLN), Chair of Landcare NT and chair of the local land-care group, Friends of Mitchell Creek Catchment.

She represents Landcare NT on the Australian Association of Environmental Educators (NT Chapter) Committee.

Sue has been involved in environmental planning and biodiversity conservation since 2008.

Leading an advocacy campaign to protect the unique ecological and amenity values of Mitchell Creek Catchment, Palmerston during the construction of five new suburbs in this ‘greenfield’ site.

Sue is a Darwin based community development practitioner with many years of work, study and volunteer activity in the community services sector.

She has a Bachelor Arts Degree from this time and studied a Diploma in Conservation and Land Management (2013) to gain a deeper understanding of conservation and land management issues.
