An important goal of the Darwin Harbour Advisory Committees (DHAC) was to review and update the Darwin Harbour Strategy.

The strategy provides guidance for the integrated management of the Darwin Harbour region to promote ecologically sustainable development, foster good stewardship of our harbour and protect its environmental, cultural, recreational and economic values.

The draft Darwin Harbour Strategy was released for public comment in December 2019 and closed on 28 February 2020. A summary of the consultation feedback PDF (722.7 KB) which has been incorporated into the final Strategy is available.
