Apply to clear pastoral land
Pastoral land clearing applications are lodged with and determined by the Pastoral Land Board in accordance with the Pastoral Land Act.
There are some activities of land clearing on pastoral land which may not require a permit.
The NT Pastoral Land Clearing Guidelines outlines when a permit is required and what the application process is.
You should contact the Pastoral Land Board if you are unsure if you require a permit or not.
To apply for a permit to clear pastoral land you must do all of the following:
Step 1. Discuss your works with the Pastoral Land Board Executive Officer
Step 3. Attach supporting documents including shape files.
Step 4. Pay the fee.
Step 5. To submit your application by mail or email, forward it to:
