Building single dwellings on small lots
This page has information about the development requirements in the Northern Territory (NT) for residential buildings on small parcels of land.
The following fact sheets give guidance on NT Planning Scheme requirements for small lot subdivisions, and on lot configuration, setbacks, minimum frontage widths and building envelopes when building a single dwelling on a small lot:
- small lots of 300 to 450 square metres - for building in future development and multiple dwelling residential zones
- lots of over 450 to 600 square metres - for building in undeveloped or greenfield areas.
