Could you be the next NT Exporter of the year?

The Territory has many export success stories, including Monsoon Aquatics (pictured) who were crowned Australian Exporter of the Year in 2021. Other past winners at the National level include SRA Information Technology (2017), Charles Darwin University (2014), Australian Skills Training and Alice Springs Helicopter (both in 2009).

Be part of Territory exporting excellence and get your nomination in before Friday 10 June 2022.

It is important to recognise export businesses and showcase the work they are doing to grow the Territory’s economy, create jobs for Territorians and attract investment in areas such as:

  • Advanced technologies;
  • Agribusiness, food and beverages;
  • Creative industries;
  • E-commerce;
  • Emerging Exporter;
  • International education and training;
  • International health;
  • Manufacturing and advanced materials;
  • Professional services;
  • Regional Exporter;
  • Resources and energy;
  • Small business;
  • Sustainability.

An overall Exporter of the Year is selected from the winners of the above categories.

The NT winners of each category progress as finalists to the Australian Export Awards.

International trade is an important economic driver that contributed $12.1 billion to the economy last year and this will continue to grow.
