Million Dollar Fish back for Season 7

Registrations are now open for Million Dollar Fish Season 7.

Season seven of the popular competition officially opens on 1 October 2021 and runs until 31 March 2022.

The pool of prize money, underwritten by SportsBet, is the biggest in the history of Million Dollar Fish. This means there are more chances than ever to bag a winning barra.

There are now eight $1 million fish swimming around Top End waterways. This is in addition to the remaining $1 million tagged fish from previous seasons.

Once any of the eight Million Dollar Fish are caught, the remaining seven revert to $10,000 fish.

Anglers also have the chance to reel in 100 red-tagged barra worth $10,000.

Each time a $10,000 barra is caught, the lucky fisho will have the opportunity to donate an additional $1,000 to a Million Dollar Fish Season Seven Official Charity Partner.

A further $10,000 will be donated to an Official Charity Partner once the Million Dollar Fish is reeled in.

Anyone who registers will also go into the Lucky Prize Pool which is drawn every month.

Over $61,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs including a Great Northern Tiwi Island Breakaway, Shimano fishing combos, Anaconda vouchers, Britz campervan getaways, Engel fridges and freezers and Top End fishing holidays and experiences.

The official Million Dollar fish shirt is back with a fresh design and is available to purchase through Darwin businesses and Million Dollar Fish partner Big Fish Gear.

Million Dollar Fish has lured anglers to the Territory from all over Australia and the world since 2015, but no one has yet caught the elusive Million Dollar Fish.

Fishos are reminded to register for this new season of Million Dollar Fish – even if they registered in previous seasons. Registration is free.
