Join the Arts NT Register of Peers

Registrations are now open for Expressions of Interest (EOI) to join the Arts NT Register of Peers.

Arts NT is seeking EOIs from Northern Territory (NT) professional, practising artists and arts workers to join the register.

Arts Peers play a crucial role in developing the arts sector through:

  • providing expertise and specialist advice across art forms, regions, and community and cultural development areas
  • assisting Arts NT to build remote and regional engagement and gain valuable insight into initiatives, trends and rising issues in the sector
  • sitting on arts grant assessment panels, working parties or advisory groups
  • supporting sector decision-making to determine the best value for money and equitable disbursement of funding across the NT’s regions and art forms.

Aboriginal and remote-based arts professionals, young arts professionals (18 to 25 years) and arts professionals with disability are encouraged to apply.

Selected peers will be appointed for three years and receive remuneration for sitting fees and approved out of pocket expenses.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming an Arts Peer visit nt.gov.au/ArtsPeers or contact Arts NT on 1800 678 237 for more information.

Registrations are now open and close 1 August 2021.
