Public information sessions on tax and royalty policies
The Northern Territory Government is holding public information sessions across the Territory to talk to Territorians about our taxes and royalties.
Territory taxes and royalties are important as they fund essential government services such as hospitals and health care, police and emergency services, education, family support and infrastructure.
The public information sessions will take place in January and February in Katherine, Howard Springs, Darwin, Palmerston, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs and Nhulunbuy.
The Government also encourages Territorians to make written submissions about taxes and royalties. This feedback will assist in preparing the Territory’s tax and royalty policies and developing systems as part of the Budget process. Submissions will be accepted until 28 February.
