GovHack coming to the Territory for the first time
Are you a data cruncher, coder, visual designer, story teller or otherwise creatively minded? If so, register now to participate in GovHack.
GovHack is an annual volunteer run hackathon-based competition, conducted in partnership with government to harness the power of open data. The competition is being held on the weekend of 28 - 30 July in over 40 locations across Australia and New Zealand.
If you’d like to find out more about GovHack, the inaugural GovHack NT Connections event will be held this Tuesday 11 July from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Darwin Innovation Hub and the Sandbox Co-working and Innovation Space in Alice Springs. This event is a chance to find out what GovHack is all about, hear from existing industry leaders about the possibilities that open data provides, and connect with other Territorians who are interested in exploring challenges and creating new solutions.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Connections event prior to the GovHack competition. To confirm your attendance please register at https://bit.ly/GovHackNT or contact Kris Gesling on 0401 438 789.
