Euthynnus affinis.

Where they live

Tuna mackerel are commonly found in in open waters but always remains close to the shoreline. 

The young may enter bays and harbours. 

They can form multi-species schools with other species, comprising from 100 to over 5,000 individuals in some cases.

Size and age

Up to 100cm in length and can weigh up to 14kg.
