Territory Parks Alive program

Territory Parks Alive is a program of free guided walks, talks, slideshows, spotlight activities and more.

The program runs from May to August each year. Activities cater for a variety of ages, fitness and interest levels.

10am to 11am Join in this interactive touch table activity and touch and see a variety of artefacts from plants and animals. They will be brought to life through the ranger’s stories and experiences.

Keep River National Park Learning to Read Country - guided walk Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Saturdays 22 May to 18 August
8:30am to 9:30am Aboriginal culture, spectacular geology and vast habitats are protected in Keep River National Park. Join a ranger for a walk to Goorandalm Lookout to discover more.

Butterfly Gorge

Hike into Butterfly Gorge

Sunday 29 July

6km hike into Butterfly Gorge.

Enjoy walking through country and wander through butterfly covered sandstone walls and beautiful views of the second gorge.

Catch a ferry boat home. Ferry rides cost $21 per person.
