Apply for an arts grant to create new work

You can apply for up to $20,000 to research, develop or create new artworks, arts projects or community cultural development projects in the Northern Territory (NT)

The Arts Development grant is part of the NT Arts Grants Program project rounds.

There are two funding rounds per year that support the following:

  • expression of NT identity through arts and culture
  • development opportunities for NT artists or arts workers
  • increased arts participation and access
  • employment of NT artists or arts workers.

Who can apply

Individuals, groups or non-profit organisations may apply.

Who cannot apply

Arts organisations that get more than $100,000 in program funding each year from the NT Arts Grants Program can't get this funding.
