New specialist school in Palmerston
A new specialist school is being built in Bellamack, Palmerston.
The school is being built in two stages.
Stage one of the school will cater for 84 preschool and primary aged students from the Palmerston and Rural region and is expected to be completed by late 2016 and be fully operational by early 2017.

Henbury School caters for 120 middle and senior year students who meet the criteria of high support special need students.
In July 2016, Henbury School relocated to a new site opposite its original location.
The new school incorporates specialist facilities to engage students in training programs to prepare them for transition from school to further education or work.
