Study abroad program
The study abroad program is a 10 week study program which gives you the opportunity to experience the Australian way of life while attending a Northern Territory Government school and staying in homestay accommodation with a local family.
You can participate in the program with a visitors visa which allows you to stay for up to 12 weeks.
You can choose from a wide range of subjects and take part in other school activities such as sporting programs
Fees are calculated pro rata, based on the normal tuition fee for a full fee paying international student.
For example, the fee for a student undertaking a 10 week study abroad program in Year 10 to 12 would be $250 per week ($2500 total).

Applications are considered on a case by case basis.
You must still be enrolled in a school in your home country and intend to return home on the completion of the program.
You must provide evidence of your level of English language competency.
