Renew registration for hairdressing, beauty therapy or body art business
If you are the owner of a hairdressing business in the Northern Territory (NT), you will only need to renew your registration once after 23 May 2018.
Your registration will be ongoing as long as the business stays at the same premises and you continue to run the business.
If you are the owner of a beauty or body art business in the NT, you must renew your registration every year before your existing registration expires.
You must include information on any changes since previous registration including all of the following:
- trading locations
- fit out.
If your registration has expired, you must fill in a registration form and resubmit all relevant supporting information.
How to renew
To renew your registration, follow these steps:
Step 1. Renew online or fill in the application to renew registration of a hairdressing, beauty therapy or body art business form from the Department of Health digital library.
Step 2. Pay the fee.
You can pay over the phone, by mail or in person at your nearest Receiver of Territory Monies (RTM) office.
Step 3. Submit your application and supporting documents.
If you pay by mail or in person you can submit your application to the RTM.
If you pay over the phone, you should submit your application at the nearest Environmental Health Office.
