Northern Territory liquor licensees can only sell alcohol on certain days and at certain times.

Selling takeaway alcohol

If your liquor licence allows you to sell takeaway alcohol, you can do so between:

  • 10am and 10pm Sunday to Friday
  • 9am and 10pm Saturday
  • 9am and 10pm public holidays.

Takeaway alcohol restrictions

You can't sell alcohol on Sundays if you hold either of the following:

  • a store licence
  • or a liquor merchant licence.
