Apply to be restricted licensed premises

Restricted licensed premises are private premises where alcohol is limited or not permitted. 

This means it is an offence to consume or have liquor at those premises. 

Restrict your premises

You can apply to restrict the entire premises, or a specified part of the premises. 

These includes any of the following: 

  • unit level
  • courtyard
  • veranda
  • porch.

How to apply

Follow these steps:

Step 1. Fill in the declaration of restricted premises form - you can also get a form at a Licensing NT office or NT Police station.

Step 2. Sign the application - include a description of the premises and explain why you want it restricted.

Step 3. Send your application form to either address below.
