NT Occupational Shortage Employer Incentive Scheme
Who can apply
To apply for this incentive, your apprentice or trainee must meet all the following criteria:
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen who has lived in Australia for at least six months
- be a new full-time employee who is studying for a qualification attracting incentives
- have started a registered training contract on the day or after the incentive round was announced
- not have completed a Certificate III, IV or vocational education and training (VET) Diploma qualification in the last seven years.
You can claim this incentive once per employee and up to three times in total for each round of funding.
Before you apply
To claim a further $1,000, your apprentice or trainee must stay working with you for at least two years or have finished their training.
How to apply
If approved, the funds will be transferred to your bank account.
