Northern Territory Parks and Conservation Framework

The Parks and Wildlife Service is responsible for conserving the Territory's unique fauna and
flora, and for planning and developing the Territory's system of terrestrial
and marine parks and reserves. Currently there are 91 parks and reserves
in the Northern Territory that have been established for the protection
of biodiversity and for the provision of high quality nature-based tourism/recreational
experiences for visitors.
