Draft Joint Management Plans Now Open for Comment
Joint Management Plans provide direction for the future management of a Park or Reserve, and outline how the interests of the community, Traditional Owners and conservation will be served. They describe the natural, recreational and cultural values of a Park and how the managers responsible – the joint management partners – will ensure these values are properly protected.
The Parks and Wildlife Service, in partnership with Traditional Owners, have prepared draft Joint Management Plans for both Watarrka National Park and West MacDonnell National Park.
Now it is time for you to have your say.
