Facilities

• Skatepark
  The skatepark is a quality facility which provides challenges to the experienced skater.
• Baseball Court
  The basketball court is available to all visitors and groups. Floodlights are available so that the facility can be used in the evening.
• Cycling Path
  bitumen cycling path is located at the gate to the Park. This cycle path leads to other suburbs in the area. Cycling paths within the Park can be used by inexperienced cyclists, and also by skaters.
• Picnic Tables & Gas BBQs
  Picnic facilities are available at Leanyer Recreation Park including tables and gas BBQ's. A kiosk is open at various times of the day.
• Swimming
  A new water facility including a swimming pool, children's paddling pools and a water playground facility have been opened recently. Lifeguards are on duty at the times the pools and the water playground are operating and open to visitors. Young children under the age of 10 years need to be supervised by parents or carers.
• Water Slides
  Three waterslides, each 14 metres high and varying from 103 - 125 metres in length, will be opening on 29 March 2009. The red slide is available for tandem rides. The waterslides are free to ride.
• Toilets and Drinking Water Outlets
  There are drinking water outlets available at various locations around the Park. Toilet facilities are also available at the Park.
