The Northern Territory Government encourages Territorians to comment on the draft Land Clearing Guidelines (2009).
The Land Clearing Guidelines are designed to assist landholders and the consent authority decide which areas are suitable for development and which areas should be left in their natural state to help protect the environment.
These Guidelines apply to all native vegetation clearing in the Northern Territory and are open for public comment until Friday 29 May 2009.
