Curatorial Floor Talk

Join Curator of Southeast Asian Art and Material Culture, Ms Joanna Barrkman, and Mr Virgilio Simith, Secretary of State Culture, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste for a guided tour of the exhibition From the Hands of Our Ancestors – Husi Bei Ala Timor Sira Nia Liman. Highlights include works on display from the National Collection of Timor-Leste. From the Hands of Our Ancestors is an international exhibition of contemporary art and crafts from Timor-Leste including textiles, ceramics, wooden carvings and body adornment. The exhibition is showing at the Museum and Art Gallery Northern Territory until 12 July 2009
