Public Notice of Pastoral Land Clearing Application - 25 August
The Pastoral Land Board has received an application seeking approval to clear approximately 3792 ha of native vegetation on Bloodwood Downs Station, Sturt Plateau Pastoral District. The application is available to view. Public submissions close 5 September 2008.

Artist in Residence Program Begins at AraluenArtist in Residence Program Begins at Araluen - 21 July
A new ‘Artists in Residence’ portal is now operating at the Northern Territory Government’s Araluen Arts Centre. Director of the Alice Springs Cultural Precinct, Tim Rollason, said the first artist in residence is local artist Dayananda, who specialises in jewellery made from crystals and has established the Maid in Earth Studio, in the Araluen Arts Centre foyer.
